Abstract

Purpose: One of the most important keywords used in Imam Khamenei's statements is the concept of transformation. This category includes changes in various fields, including changes in the country's higher education system. Given the importance of the subject, this research aims to design and explain the civilization-building transformation model in the higher education system from the perspective of Imam Khamenei.

Methodology: The research method is qualitative and fundamental. Since the results of this research can be used to create transformation in the higher education system, this research is also considered practical from this aspect. For data analysis, the theme analysis method was used and 184 basic themes, 41 organizing themes and 14 overarching themes were extracted.

Findings: According to the findings of the research, the central theme extracted from Imam Khamenei's statements is the need for a deep transformation in the higher education system based on the identity and foundations of Quranic culture and the model of civilization-building and monotheistic scientific progress. on optimizing the performance and structure of the country's educational and research system, updating and fully implementing the comprehensive scientific plan, aiming at higher education and making it mission-oriented, improving quality, elitism, modeling committed and successful scientific elites, jihadi management and handing the university over to the authorities committed, continuous and civilizing scientific leap and effort, development of science and fundamental research, scientific needs assessment through communication with industry and society, targeted research with an approach to solving the country's problems, development of useful, skill-oriented and practical science, self-confidence and innovation in science production, Ethical and justice-oriented science, transcendental education, teaching life skills and Islamic lifestyle, evolution in human sciences, directing the production of science, theory and education of the scientist, development of science and research in the second step of the revolution, scientific leap in the scientific perspective Islamic civilization, the use of sciences based on Islamic foundations and monotheistic culture and negation of the western model, scientific interaction and synergy, scientific idealism with the aim of crossing the borders of current knowledge, conquering scientific peaks and gaining scientific authority in the world in the perspective of modern Islamic civilization and realizing Hayat Tayyaba is emphasized.

Conclusion: Based on the results of the research, from the perspective of Imam Khamenei, the current system of higher education in the country does not respond to the goals and needs of the country and requires a fundamental transformation, and this transformation must be based on Islamic identity, Quranic principles and transcendental education and training with a model of scientific progress that builds civilization and monotheism. In the perspective of the main goal of the Islamic Revolution, which is to create a new Islamic civilization and achieve a good life, it will lead to the conquest of scientific peaks and gaining scientific authority in the world
