Undoubtedly, one of the manifestations of the realization and advancement of Iran's civilization in the West Asian region is the modeling of Iran's regional power position so that the intellectual model and acceptance of Iran's political authority become more credible and institutionalized.This research seeks to explain the referent regional power model of I.R.Iran. For this purpose, the three dimensions of the new model of the regional power of I.R.Iran were analyzed. It was found that the referent regional power can be examined in the form of three dimensions: features, goals and strategies which each of them shows a part of the referent regional power model of I.R.Iran. The descriptive-analytical research method was used to collect data from library sources and documents. However, the general format of the model, including features, goals, and strategies, was obtained through holding expert meetings and examining experts regarding it. Based on this method, first, referent power as the theoretical basis was discussed so that it can be applied to the regional power model of I.R.Iran. The results of the research showed that the referent regional power model of I.R.Iran can be explained in 3 dimensions: features (comprising 8 components), goals (comprising 3 components) and strategies (comprising 5 components).
