The "artist" is the first aspect of the creative form of "art" whose human face is manifested more than ever before the eyes. The two have played a constructive role in connection with "Islamic civilization" throughout history. As the artist man has always been the realization of one of the most important manifestations of civilization - the work of art. Knowing that the Islamic Revolution of Iran in the contemporary period has been the basis for the creation of Islamic civilization and has realized its conditions; It should also be noted that the views of the leaders of the Islamic Revolution on the manifestations of "civilization". The personality of the artist and the work of art - has proposed new definitions of the two elements. Therefore, the question is what is the specific view of "Imam Khomeini" and "Imam Khamenei" about the role of "artist" and "art" and what is the significant relationship with the "body of Islamic civilization" in the contemporary period? The present research is of qualitative (descriptive-analytical) type, using deductive reasoning with the help of reason and logic tools and collecting information in a library method. Excerpts from the research results indicate that the artist, as a responsible human towards himself, his society, history and culture, is required to create an identity in the path of artistic creation. On the other hand, art should be savior of the oppressed by avoiding the matter of "agony" and approaching the matter of "goodness". Undoubtedly, such art needs to be supported by cultural contexts (Islamic society), which itself is on the path of "cultural-civilizational" relationship.
