Immunity of the new Islamic civilization with recognition of eclecticism and coping strategies in the thought of Ayatollah Khamenei

Abstract

religious eclecticism is a cultural issue and a kind of indiscipline and confusion of knowledge that has endangered the essence of Islamic learning and the new civilization of the revolution due to opposition to authentic religious teachings. Ayatollah Khamenei, as the leader of the Islamic Republic and a responsible scientist who is aware of the knowledge bases of Islam, are a source of knowledge for distinguishing right from wrong. For this reason, the present study aims to provide the correct way to deal with eclecticism and to know the eclecticism and coping strategies in the thought of Ayatollah Khamenei. Research method: It is the analysis of the theme. Findings: From the twenty-seven basic themes, ten organizing themes were obtained, by integrating the components, finally, four major categories of "eclectic characteristics", "eclectic works", "offensive solutions of immunity from eclecticism" and "defensive solutions of protection" were obtained. It was obtained from "eclecticism". Then, a set of related concepts was organized under each main category. Results: eclecticism has six main characteristics: "non-Islamic purposefulness", "creating deviation in religion", "non-scientific combination of opinions"," interpretation based on opinion", "inferences based on taste" and "departing from The foundations of jurisprudence in theorizing". The most important consequence of eclecticism is "departing from religious principles" and immunity from it can be achieved with two methods of offense and defense.
